The plants of Crimson Clover and Purple Prairie Clover will grow to a mature height of roughly 12 to 36 inches tall. Crimson Clover provides early spring nitrogen for full-season crops and is often times planted in between rows of Blueberries here in Michigan. Growers will use Clover plants as forage for farm animals, including cows, bulls and horses.
